Effective June 5, 2026 (updated for Customer Accounts / Returning Customers)
This manual is the customer starting guide for Roll Off Rental App. Use it after your site is provisioned, when you first sign in, and any time you need a quick reminder about the setup flow.
Your welcome email includes your own site URL, usually in this format:
https://yourcompany.rolloffrentalapp.com/
The same email includes a private setup link so you can create your admin password. Do not forward that setup link to other people.
After the driver picks up the dumpster and dumps it at the refuse facility, the driver opens the rental in the driver portal and uses the Dump Weight & Receipt form to:
If the driver forgets, the admin can enter the weight + receipt later from the reservation edit page. Same effect: rental marked completed and thank-you email queued.
Configure the profit math under Admin → Settings:
Then visit Admin → Reports for a per-month profit summary: dump weight totals, dump cost paid to refuse, overage owed (admin-only), revenue from paid rentals, and estimated gross profit. Use the prev/next month buttons to navigate history.
When a customer books a rental on your site, an account is created for them automatically using the email address they enter. The welcome email leads with their email and a temporary password so they can sign in right away to see their reservation and rental history.
If a returning customer reserves again with the same email, the new reservation is added to their existing account instead of being blocked. They receive a short email confirming the reservation was added under their existing login, along with a one-click password reset link in case they have forgotten it. They are never forced to create a second account just because their first email was already used.
The sign-in page also has a Forgot password? link that emails a one-click reset link to any customer who needs one.
Calling and SMS features depend on your phone and messaging setup. Platform welcome/support messages come from Roll Off Rental App. Tenant-to-customer texting is separate and requires your own approved business messaging registration before your site sends texts to your customers.
Use the support option inside your site when something is not working or when you need help. If you bought a custom plan, describe the change you want in plain English. Approved changes can be planned, applied, audited, and rolled back through the AI-assisted customization system.
