Terms of Service

Effective May 31, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Roll Off Rental App hosted software and the site at rolloffrentalapp.com, operated by Jason Derr (The Computer Guy) ("we," "us," or "our"). By signing up or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

We provide hosted, branded roll-off rental management software. When you sign up and pay, we automatically provision a dedicated instance of the software at your chosen subdomain (yourcompany.rolloffrentalapp.com), including an admin account for you.

Plans, billing & renewals

• Standard — Monthly: $24/month plus a one-time $80 setup fee. Billed monthly and renews automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime; no contract.
• Standard — Annual: $199/year with the setup fee waived. Billed yearly and renews automatically.
• Customization — Starter: $250 one-time. Includes 30 days and up to 5 approved changes.
• Customization — Growth: $500 one-time. Includes 90 days and up to 15 approved changes.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with notice.

Refunds

• The monthly setup fee is non-refundable once provisioning has begun.
• Annual plans are billed yearly and are non-refundable.
• Customization packages are non-refundable once work has begun.
• You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period.

Customization packages

Customization ("custom install") packages include a defined number of approved changes within a defined support window, as listed above. A "change" is a discrete, agreed modification to your site or workflow. Requests beyond the included allowance, or after the window closes, may require an additional package.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate signup and business information and keep your account credentials secure.
• Use the service lawfully and only for your legitimate business.
• You are responsible for your own data and for the messages your instance sends to your customers, including obtaining any required consent and complying with TCPA, carrier, and 10DLC/TCR rules under your own brand registration.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send unlawful or unsolicited messages, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems, or resell the platform without our written permission.

Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the software and platform. You retain ownership of your business data and content. Your branding remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to host and operate your instance.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments) and mobile carriers/messaging providers. Their availability and terms are outside our control.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for non-payment. On termination we may delete your instance and data after a reasonable period.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
